Theus 7 week update

Theus is 7 weeks old now. He weighs 10lbs 13oz ! I think that good he slowed down a little but it's been a rough week. I had a tooth pulled hoping to see well over 11 lbs next week ! This week was Christmas, Theus could care less he rather cuddle with mama than open gifts. His brothers and sisters are all home until Jan 7th this should be fun !!!

6 week update

Baby Theus is now 6 weeks old. We did our 6 week photo shoot it came out super cute!!! Video of that will be posted below! Our Official weight at the doctor is 10lbs 8oz and 21 inches long. We got out first social smile at the doctors office. I'm hoping to get more of them soon. We also learned little Theus has a birth defect. Hypospadias (hi-poe-SPAY-dee-us) is a condition in which the opening of the urethra is on the underside of the penis, instead of at the tip. The urethra is the tube through which urine drains from your bladder and exits your body. I don't really see it, but we will see a urologist the end of January and hopfuly its not too bad. It can be fixed though surgery, but I'm hoping we don't need to go down that path. As always video update is posted below.

 

5 week update

Theus is now 5 weeks old !!!! He is getting big !!! He is now 10 lbs !!!! I'm going to keep doing videos and blog updates weekly. I'm doing well with my recovery and my low iron is now gone up since having Theus my placenta pills have helped !!! Yay !!! There more in the video then In the blog this week. I spent over 12 hours cleaning out my video camera so go watch the video for the full update !

One Month old

Theus is one month old today. As usual I'm a day off. Earlier in the week I thought ... He would be a month old on Sunday until I heard a commersial say Monday was the 9th .... I had to look it up, believe it or not the Tv was right. SO I did his pictures on Friday while the kids were in school. They came out great !! I weighed him in his onsie 9lbs 8oz !! Getting big but I am noticing some green poop which means he not getting enough hind milk so we need to nurse longer on each side. I also checked the expect net guessing game I was only off by a day and a once on guessing his stats. I just updatws earlier this week so there isn't much more to update no video just pictures enjoy !!

4 week Theus Update

heus Is 4 weeks old now. He is getting big about 9-9 1/2 pounds. So that means nursing is going well. He is starting to hold his head up more and stay awake a little longer. He also wanting to be bounced in my lap. I still replay his birth in my head and can't believe he is here and mine !!! Also can't belive how fast and easy he was. I hope that means he is an easy baby and little boy. So far he is pretty easy. We have our bad days and night where I feel overwhelmed. My last baby was 6 years ago so I'm not use to have a little one who can't understand wait a minute. When he need to eat or be loved he needs it NOW !! He will be a month this weekend ! The holidays are upon us. Christmas is coming up and he has so many chirstmas Pj's and bibs how am I ever going to choose ??? I don't know If I will keep up weekly updates or it will jump to montly at this age things don't change so much. I may end up just being weekly photos and a little video clip :) Here is my youtube video update....
