18 week bumpdate

Welcome to week 18 bumpdate of baby Chicken. I'm sorry this week is a little late, due to the fact I had my check-up with the midwife early this week and a late Appointment for our 3-D ultrasound on Thursday. I think I mention we also went on a tour of the hospital. I want to address some of my conrern. I had 2 main issues one being the NICU is not very well so basically if this baby follows it miss Emma's foot steps and comes early (before 35 weeks) I will go to a different hospital with a better NICU, my midwife won't be there I will have to do what they tell me and I won't get the birth I want, but the hospital is a 25 mile drive and If a preemie is a possibility I want to give this baby the best chance to stay inside plus this baby and I need to be together after the birth as much as possible. I want to call our local hospital and ask about the NICU in that case. 2nd issue is newborn hospital pictures. First off the hospital where I'm having baby chicken at doesn't do pictures. That really upset me and I wanted to look into booking with another hospital for pictures. after talking to the hospital. First off it going to be a struggle to book with another hospital 2nd I want pictures to match my other kids

 Now a days they don't do pictures like them.

I really want the pose my other kids have. I also wanted the rainbow backgrd all the kids, but Cameron had. The only reason Cameron had a different one was cause they used he blanket after they were asked not to and by the time I got the pictures he was 3 weeks old and there was nothing I could do. The rainbow backgrd isn't going to happen. I was there for Zack's pictures cause he was a home birth I know how to do it. I have a nice camera and I can do it. The way I look at. I'm going to spend the money on a nice blanket for the background of some nice fabric. Cameron won't be the odd ball out. If I have a boy I will have 2 boys with the rainbow and 2 boys with something different. If i happen to have a girl I will have 1 boy with something different 1 girl with something different and 2 and 2 with the rainbow. I will make it work.

Now I'm 18 weeks Wow ... It seems like time is speeding up a litle July 4th is next week !!! how is that possible and that means the kids go back to school in a little over a month !! I want time to slow down a little It feels like were just starting to enjoy the summer. I did have my 3d ultrasound yesterday. I had the best time went out the eat lunch with a friend from High school she is super awesome and sweet !!! We had a great time talking and eating. We went in for the ultrasound explained the plan of me not finding out. I turned my head early on to make sure the baby showed the goods. Which it did. she told me at that point she already saw it once. makes me think it's a boy. She also called the baby "little dude" when trying to wake it up makes me think boy as well. I'm totally convinced it's a boy ! If I'm wrong I will have a shock of a lifetime ! Anyway the baby was so cute ! gave us the peace sign ! got the most awesome 3-D shot of such a beautiful little baby ! I can't tell if he/she has my features or Darin's yet maybe in the next Ultrasound I will. I even think the baby looks like a boy. I could be wrong but I love this little one already. It's kicking me more and more....totally love it. I can't wait for the party which is July 14th when my friend will reveal if it's a boy or girl. I was totally wired last night. I had a bunch of soda to keep the baby active for the ultrasound. I got home worked on the invites. Then realized I forgot my charger in my friends car got that. Then fought with the invites and went and got them printed out at 1130 at night !! I plan on getting them ready to go out today...here is a sample minus my address and phone number

 I have my ultrasound at the midwifes on July 15th plus 2 more #d at 25 and 30 weeks so we will have a lot of pictures to look fwd to. In 2 weeks I will know for sure if it a boy or maybe even a girl. if it's a boy I'll start calling him by his name, if it a girl I will find her a name. we only have Mattheus Ayden picked out for a boy still trying to decided to call him Matt or Theus :)

Almost 18 week Check-up & hospital tour

I got up and headed in the area of the Midwife early, so I could check out the hospital. I went up to L&D they gave me a tour on the L&D rooms as well as the birthing suite. There's nothing special about them looks like your typical hospital. I also got to see the PP rooms. Asked about Isabella staying the right which, is all fine. The things I do have an issue with is the NICU, if I do have a premmie as well as there no newborn pictures done at the hospital. I may Not have the baby there if I don't make it to 35/36 weeks just go to the closest hospital if I have a preemie, which I hope I don't. As for the hospital pictures. I'm not sure if I could take the baby else where for pictures like another hospital after we are discharged. We had lunch and went for the appointment the HR was in the 150's I gain about a pound so far .... Hopefully I keep it around that I pound a month with 4-5 months left I hoping to not gain more than 10-15 more pounds from here, but we shall see. I will be 18 weeks Wednesday. I see the midwife in 3 weeks. I will be seeing a different one, I also get my Anatomy Ultrasound then on July 15th. I have my 3-D ultrasound this week as well. I did make a video with more info if you want to watch. I will update again after the 3D ultrasound.

17 week bumpdate

So I'm 17 weeks. Wow next week is my ultrasound. I don't have any baby buys this week. 3 and a half weeks until my Gender reveal party ! I'm Excited to know for sure if this is a little, boy or to be surprised that it's a little girl. I'm looking forward to that and July 4th. Trying to enjoy the summer, before we head back to school. As far as feeling I been feeling fine not really feeling pregnant, but I did have a dizzy spell last Saturday and again today. Could be the heat or not drinking enough I really need to up my water intake for the big ultrasound next week anyway. I did feel some little baby kicks for the first time June 13th. I need some feed back do you'll enjoy reading the blogs? do you like the VLOG's ? should I keep them up ? both or just one ? well let me know.... This weeks Pictures are below. I don't feel think I've grown much over the past month. I think things are just getting firmer, which is good I don't want to get to big anyway.

16 weeks bumpdate and VLOG

so I'm 16 weeks pregnant. A month from now I be at the half way point. I made my Vlog yesterday, but haven't got a chance to post so I'll post in after I finish this weeks bumpdate. So I'm 16 weeks pregnant !! Wow and ...only 16 weeks. I'm feeling good I don't really feel too pregnant I just feel fat, i know I'm pregnant and now fat but It sometimes feel like I need to just run and get back in shape and I'm not really pregnant. I know that not true but It's how I feel. I haven't felt any movement yet just pressure in the cervix area sometimes. I can't wait to feel flutters and jabs. I guessing that will happen soon. A little disclaimer about my vlog... I talked about how my showers with my past children were small and i didn't receive much for my children. I'm not in any way asking for gifts for this baby a shower for me is more a celebrations of life and I've learned not to expect much and to know I have a lot of get o be ready for this baby. Also a little update the crib didn't work out yesterday so I'm still on the hunt for a crib! and since I couldn't read what I need off my phone while taking video I will type it. Once again not asking for gifts just tell you what i'm shopping for. I still need a boncey seat, Travel swig, crib bedding, Carseat stroller combo, Boppy pillow and cover, Lots of clothes, towels, headsupprt for carseat, socks, blankets (most of these thing I want to wait till I know for sure it's a boy or if it happens to be a girl). I do have the boy & girl bedding picked out .

I also need a baby bath tub, Glider, lotions, baby bath, avent brand bottles breastpads and brestmilk storage bags. As you see it still a bit... This week I got 2 outfits and a baby swaddler which I show you in a video, but here is a photo.

 

I'm also trying to plan my maternity shoot. I think I want to do it on the beach. I may do more than one, but I'm thinking of late September and in white on the beach either a tank or tube top with a maxi skirt. what do you think ?

 

other than that I'm just looking forward to my ultrasound in 2 weeks and then 4 weeks and some odd days is our party and we we know for sure if this baby is a boy or a girl. It looks like a nice week outside so I'm going to spend week 16 swimming. I'm hoping to enjoy my pregnancy have had a bit of drama stupid drama this week I don't know if it just being pregnant or if it me but I want a stress free relaxing pregnancy and I hoping next week is pretty boring. Vlog 15 weeks & intro

Drama in shopping ..........

So it's June which means July 4th is right around the corner .....every July 4th we dress up the boys in flag tee's my and hubs in flag tee's and the girls in pillow case flag dresses. I looked online for Maternity. I see the have 1 white one in 2 sizes L and XSM well I guess I could do Lg would perfer a M but large would work. I went to the old navy store they have Darin's and the kids I but those $5 a pop with shipping mine will be 12 okay as I'm walking out I try to order put in there credit card then it Went to create a Password screen. I usually buy in store okay... do it then it says session time out please call the 800 number ! Really !!! I call all they have in stock is XSM no that will not work !!!!! It's still in my cart I try again and again....have to get the kids from VBS. I'm in a rush to get home and try form the computer. they make me wait to get the kids. Then there's a long line to get out of the church parking lot. we catch every red light. i try on the phone at home it's now been removed from my cart. NO !!!!! I call the 800 back there really nothing he can do to help me :( I have the other window open where it in stock. he tells me try it. so as fast as I can type I put in everything and guess what it goes though. The only issue Is I changed me email yesterday from TassinDanielle@live.com to DanielleMTassin@aol.com and I registered as DanielleMTassin@live.com no !!!!!! I got a confirmation number all looks good even created yet another email DanielleMTassin@live.com for incase they email me something and I will watch the sight. but it looks like I got my shirt the guy even has no clue how I did it, but I did !!

cravings...tears

So I haven't had too many.... love pickles, but I'm picky about the ones I want. love the ones the sell at the ball park big and fat and got eat them with a spoon maybe even add some PB every now and again. My newest thing it hot oatmeal bars with old fashion lemonade...sold at Wendy's for breakfast ! Isabella, Zackariah, & Emmaleigh have VBS so catch Wendy's on the way home....I had it twice this week. last night I had some odd nightmare about flying busses and my kids in one that crashed. anyway didn't sleep well so Darin took the kids to VBS I asked him to pick up my lemonade and oatmeal bars...he said he would. They told him they didn't make lemonade today ? what ? why? can you make it now. They told us it wouldn't be ready till lunch and it now 9am !! I am not a happy camper I'm hoping they have it tomorrow or I will be calling someone for a complaint ! yes I'm a crazy pregnant woman with a craving I wanted to cry over lemonade !!!!!!

15 week Bumpdate

 

So I'm 15 weeks pregnant. What do you think of that ? Crazy wow it's flown by or that's it this is taking forever?  For me it's a little of both. That day I took that home pregnancy test to see 2 lines looking at me and to run to the doctor for a blood draw just be sure, that seems like a lifetime ago. I couldn't believe and you know most days I still can't I feel like I'm walking in someone elses shoes but I will have a wonderful blessing in my life in less than 6 months! That is amazing and just to scare the ones to read this you what that means ? Christmas is less than 7 months away !! A new baby and Christmas Wow the holiday well be soo much fun! Now 15 weeks ..... I have joined a group of mommies who are all due around the same time as me. I happen to be one of the last ones due since I'm due at the end of the month. I also Joined a group for December mommies cause you never know ...a preemie then and overdue baby it could happen. I seem so much further along than them. It is what is is I'm the baby In November mommies everyone finding out and I have weeks to go, yet December mommies are still in the the first Trimester with morning sickness (bless their heart). I'm so jealous of the ones finding out I can't wait every day I think Is it a boy or girl ? I look at the wise tales some say boy some say girl..so at this point it could be a girl but it also could be a boy ! I still feel like it's a boy !!! If I'm carrying little Mattheus Ayden I can't wait to met you if you or baby Girl _____ I love you ! 

My pillow came in yesterday. WOW can i say where have you been ? you are amazing I will not live a day in the next 6 months with out you. 

How are things going ? I have gained too much if anything. all belly my face has thinned out and so have my arms if you look at the weekly pictures belly grows and my face and arms and legs get smaller fine by me as long as baby is growing I'm happy. I don't see the midwife until the end of the month. I"m excited about that and a few days later is my 3D ultrasound !!! whooo !!! i can't wait to have another ultrasound of the baby. the 10 week ultrasound isn't holding me over anymore. The 14th is our gender Reveal party invites all ready to go hope the baby shows the goods.

I'm still shopping and getting thing ready for the baby. to add to the swing, changing table, & play pen. I did buy the dresser it needs to be redone and one leg needs a little fixing, but it's not bad it from the 1970's so nice strong dresser. I also go a winnie the pooh bassinett and the cute whittle sleeper. it's hard to believe the baby will be that tiny !!! We also started painting the playroom. I will add in either pink or blue ... but I'm loving the color

 

As far as feeling. This has been an easy pregnancy. I only got sick about a handful of times. I back to eating if I don't get to eat watch out I'm not fun to be around. I had some issues with my bladder I had an UTI and was sure I had another due to peeing 15 times in 10 mins. I've learned no soda or tea ...it's much better. I'm stilling peeing like a pregnant woman, but I would worry if I wasn't. I'm still playing with listening to the baby's heartbeat on the Doppler since I can't get ultrasounds daily this makes me feel better to hear the baby. Hey you are in there ! it makes it feel real since I've had minimal pregnancy symptoms. I even made a recording of it and it's now my ringtone when someone calls me. Love it !! makes it hard to answer though. Funny story Isabella, 9 years old was in my bed as I was listening to the baby she says "how big is the baby now and does it have a head yet" LOL too funny.
